Coping Skills

There are many things that we cannot change about our lives and so for this reason we need to learn how to cope with them. Examples include being a carer, coping with disability, having a stressful career. Learning how to cope involves us being practical and accepting of our circumstances.

This is where appointing a Life Coach can help. Having an experienced person, not connected with your personal or professional life, can help generate new ways of coping. Change is never easy, and a Life Coach can help you see a better way of dealing with your difficulties. Often our emotional self and our practical self can become intertwined. This can make decision making difficult. Those around us can offer too much help to us, when we feel we would prefer to manage things ourselves, but sometimes its about where to start.
